Step 1
A Good Conversation
We begin the conversation delving in to the who, what, where and how much. We’ll brainstorm ideas and drill down on what your goals are for the trip: quality time together, relaxation, active exploring, seeing all there is to see etc. Keep in mind, it is important for us to discuss budget expectations at this point in the process. The trip research and planning fee is due at this point.

A Well Researched Plan
After our initial conversation we thoroughly research and plan a thoughtfully designed itinerary that works within expectations and budget. We employ our preferred partners from all over the world to offer unique opportunities and create the ideal trip for our clients. Deliberation and collaboration will ensure we get it right!

A Trip to Enjoy
Once you are happy with the trip’s itinerary from beginning to end, we’ll make it official with a deposit toward the trip. We take it from here, confirming and managing all the details. And then - it’s just stress free anticipation and enjoyment of your trip with a sense of life well lived, a trip well planned – made possible by Allison Collier Travel.

How do you get paid? Is it more expensive to work with you?
We get paid through a combination of supplier commissions and our planning fee. Earning supplier commissions does not make your trip more expensive—in fact, thanks to our relationships with preferred in destination companies, hotels, drivers, guides and activity suppliers in countries all over the world, we’re often able to offer you the best pricing possible and/or include a perk or upgrade.
How much do you charge for your services?
Allison Collier Travel charges a per trip research and planning fee starting at $350, which is non‐refundable and non-transferable and due just after first consultation. The trip fee includes consultation, research, planning, and quote preparation. Our clients find that they easily recoup the cost of the fee through the value added to their travels.

Why should I work with you instead of booking online myself?
Custom travel planning is time consuming and for most can be overwhelming - where to go, which hotels to choose, how to get there and once there how to get around, which guided tours are best and what activities should be a priority. Not to mention any special travel requirements. It’s a lot! We help you sort through the options and handle every detail so that you have a seamless and enjoyable trip! Allison Collier Travel will maximize your return on the investment of your time, money and experience.
And, perhaps more importantly, we offer confidence, peace of mind and a completely unique experience, working with our preferred and trusted suppliers – we offer options that may not be found online.
Do I need trip insurance?
We highly recommend trip insurance to help protect yourself and your trip investment for events such as cancellation, delays, emergencies and in travel assistance. There are different types of insurance available depending on your needs. Please consider purchasing trip insurance a priority.
Are there any additional fees associated with your services?
